Experience could have been better. They're boats that can go in and cut all the marsh and grass that is overflowing in the lake maybe more traffic will come through if the area was a little bit more kept up .

Large lake surrounded by bald cypress swamp, gorgeous.

We made a quick stop on our way through Arkansas. Just wanted to scout out for future visits and this has a drive through trail for viewing. At a lookout pier we met Ranger/Officer Jeremy. He was very welcoming and told us about the park. He even opened the visitor center so we could look around. We are excited to return and do the kayak trail in our next visit.

Water is too low and not good for fishing. Ducks would make it without low water.

This place is great to kayak. It has over a mile of routes through beautiful cypress trees. You can kayak right under the trees and stay in the shade.
